I was a little unsure if this was going to fit my Volvo, but the compatibility info on otrperformance.com made it seem like the right one. I went ahead and ordered it, and it connected on the first try with no weird issues or extra guessing. So I’m thinking I made the right choice here, right? Happy with it so far and it definitely saved me some time.

I used the OTR tool from otrperformance.com to run a forced regen on my truck, it worked when I needed it to. I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the setup at first because it took me a bit to figure out the connection, but at the same time it wasn’t that bad once I got going. The regen ran fine, cleared the issue, and kept me from wasting time sitting around waiting on a shop. I’m still a little skeptical of tools like this, but so far I’m happy with it.

Setup was really simple, and I had it installed quickly. It worked on the first try, which was a nice surprise. For what I paid, I’m happy it didn’t turn into a hassle.

I ran into a connection issue right when I actually needed the product to work, so the timing was already frustrating. I reached out to tech support hoping they could walk me through it, but it felt like they only knew the basic script.

I kept having to repeat what I’d already tried, and most of the suggestions were just “try it again” or restart-type answers. There wasn’t much real troubleshooting, and nobody gave me a clear idea of what to do next.

Maybe it works fine for other people, but my experience with support was disappointing. It felt like I paid for something and then got left to figure it out on my own at the worst possible moment.

Most days the software works well, so I can’t really complain too much. The updates do take longer than I expected, though, and sometimes I’m left wondering what actually changed after they finish. Maybe I missed the notes somewhere, I don’t know. Support did get back to me when I reached out, which was helpful, so overall it’s not bad, just a little slower and less clear than I’d like.

I was impressed with how fast it showed up. The whole shipping experience felt smooth and reliable, so I’m happy with it.

I tried to return it, but the return got denied, which was really frustrating (especially after going through the whole process). The warranty didn’t feel helpful at all either, so the whole thing ended up feeling kind of pointless.

For the price, I’m happy with it. It works fine, does what I needed, and feels like it was worth the money.

Everything felt sturdy and well made, and it connected without making the process more annoying than it needed to be. It just worked like it was supposed to, which shouldn’t feel like such a pleasant surprise, but here we are.

I’ve been using it for a little while now and haven’t had any issues so far. Overall, I’m happy with it and would probably buy it again, assuming I don’t have to overthink the whole thing next time.
